In May 2016 we were featured on BBC 1 Countryfile’s programme on South Devon.
Anita Rani visited our local apiarist, Peter Hunt, to discover where the beeswax we use in our soaps comes from and tried her hand at milking our neighbouring goats who supply us with fresh milk for our specialist soap.
Anita heard the story behind the business, and how it all began because our little boy had eczema and we made a soap to ease his discomfort. He even featured on the programme – a TV star at the ripe old age of 4!
It was a wonderful experience and certainly put The Dartmoor Soap Company® in the limelight, for a while at least!
